The Ghirada (www.ghirada.it), also known by everyone as the “City of Sport” is a major multi-purpose sports complex set up in 1982 in Treviso by the Benetton family. This sports centre, which covers more than 22 hectares, is open to all and offers the possibility of taking part in a wide range of sports activities including swimming, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, gym and golf.

The Maggior Consiglio is the ideal hotel for those coming to Ghirada for a course or a competition such as the rugby Topolino Tournament: as well as having signed an exclusive agreement to be the official hospitality partner for the Ghirada and for all the activities run by Verde Sport, the hotel is only a few hundred metres from the sports centre and our guests can reach it easily on foot in less than five minutes.
