It is located north of Asolo, 42 minutes from Treviso. Possagno, the birthplace of the famous sculptor Antonio Canova, is still home to the vast Temple of Canova, a magnificent creation which is a perfect replica of the Roman Pantheon decorated inside by sculptures and busts by the artist. Don’t miss the Canova museum which preserves nearly all the casts that the sculptor made during his life.
